Brand Pipeline
Generate a full brand identity system — strategy, colors, typography, voice, and design tokens.
Brand Pipeline
The brand pipeline creates a complete brand identity for a client, including positioning, color palette, typography, voice guidelines, and design tokens.
Quick Reference
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Trigger | brand [business name] |
| Example | brand Oakwood Barber Co |
| Domain | Client Delivery |
| Model | Opus |
| Requires | Figma MCP connected, brief.md or live context |
| Output | knowledge/clients/[business]/brand.md, voice.md, Figma brand board |
How It Works
Phase 1 — Research
- Reads the client brief for context
- Scrapes competitor sites to analyze branding patterns
- Identifies color trends, font choices, and visual tone in the industry
- Notes what to avoid and where gaps exist
Phase 2 — Brand Strategy
Creates brand.md with:
- Brand positioning statement and personality attributes
- Color palette (primary, secondary, accent, neutral, background) with hex + RGB
- Typography (heading, body, mono fonts) with size scale and pairing rationale
- Voice and tone guidelines with do's, don'ts, and example sentences
- Logo direction concepts
- Photography and imagery style
- Design tokens (border radius, shadows, spacing, button styles)
Extracts voice guidelines into a separate voice.md file.
Phase 3 — Figma Brand Board
Uses Figma MCP to create a brand board page with color swatches, typography samples, logo concepts, and component style reference. Requires the Figma MCP server to be configured.
Phase 4 — Output
- Commits brand files to the knowledge vault
- Sends a summary with positioning statement, palette preview, font pairing, and Figma link
Prerequisites
The Figma MCP server must be connected. If it is not available, the pipeline will abort during the preflight check. The client should have a brief.md in their folder — if missing, the pipeline will ask for business name, industry, target audience, and desired vibe.
